Yes, it's consumption tax.
Don't know why states are charging it when they are collecting vat already.
Most states have it at 5%

Their argument is that VAT is collected by the federal government
They are just thieves.
It's for ease of collection that they allowed fed to collect the vat, fed is collecting it on their behalf, that's why majority of the vat goes back to the state.

When you hear that Lagos IGR is so and so ... Exploitation, Exploitation and more Exploitation is what happens

If you renew your vehicle papers in Lagos vs (say) Benue, you'll see the difference.

What about LASTMA, KAI, VIO etc fines?
