Honourable Azeez Oyeyemi Olanrewaju Omoluabi, an aspirant for the Offa Local Government Chairmanship under the All Progressives Congress (APC), has commended Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq's decisive action towards the redesigning of Offa Township Stadium.

He also pleaded for patience from the Offa community as the Governor said he will direct the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development to reassess the facility for reconstruction, today during his courtesy visit to the stadium.

The aspirant hailed the Governor's commitment to enhancing the standard of the stadium, acknowledging the importance of revitalizing the sporting infrastructure for the benefit of the community.

Expressing his gratitude for the Governor's response to the stadium's redesign, Hon Azeez Oyeyemi Olanrewaju Omoluabi emphasized the significance of the facility in promoting sports, young talents and fostering socioeconomic development in Offa and beyond.

"I commend Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his proactive approach to redesign Offa Township Stadium. This initiative underscores his dedication to improving our sporting infrastructure, and boosting the local economy," stated Hon Azeez Oyeyemi Olanrewaju Omoluabi.

Furthermore, the aspirant urged for swift implementation of the design plans, emphasizing the importance of timely action to ensure the stadium's readiness to host state and national sporting events.

"As a community, we eagerly anticipate the transformation of Offa Stadium into a modern sporting facility that will not only cater to the needs of athletes but also serve as a hub for recreational activities and social gatherings. I call for patience and support from the Offa community as our progressive-minded governor has given his word.

"I also plead with Gov Abdulrahman to make the field be in two pitches, main bowl and training pitch so as to make the stadium lively," added Hon Azeez Oyeyemi Olanrewaju Omoluabi.

Omoluabi subsequently appreciated Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq on behalf of Offa Football Club (OFC).
