how are you ever gonna learn if you do your homework for you?!

here is for your education of the day (AI is your friend):

11) To calculate the amount of work needed to stop a bullet, you can use the work-energy principle which states that the work done on an object is equal to its change in kinetic energy. The kinetic energy of the bullet is given by ½ mv², where m is the mass of the bullet and v is its velocity. As the bullet is brought to a stop, its kinetic energy goes to zero, thus the work done is equal to the initial kinetic energy of the bullet.

------------
8. P.E = mg(h1-h2)
=8*9.8(100-40)
=4704J
I use g=9.8
(9)
Use
mgh=1/2*m*v2

Note v square
Substitute for all the given values
h =5.1m
(10)
Elastic stored energy to Kinetic energy
(11)
Work done=Fs
Fs=1/2*m*v2

Note: V square

Change m=20g to m=0.02kg
Since 1000g equivalent 1kg
When you substitute correctly
Your answer should be 225joules

All the best
