No need to celebrate. This will only make fresh tomatoes very costly due to scarcity created by this company buying up the tomatoes from farmers.

Nigerians are always quick to forget. They've forgotten the impact of Dangote tomato processing company on Price of fresh tomatoes because they are used to it.
If you know this, why not go & grow tomatoes, or you prefer to wail instead as usual?

It did not come to the 5th position not to talk of 1st.
Makers of gino and pomo tomatoes make 40thousand tonnes a day and no noise.

These guys love to lie easily.
Who are they trying to impress?

How far with the failed dangote tomatoes?

Tomatoe companies will never last in Nigeria because they don't have the base which is tomatoes. Simple.
What happened to others will happen to this one.

Upon this the cost of tomatoes would still be high in Nigeria.

I don't understand why the simple Economic Laws that works very well in other parts of the world refused to work here in Nigeria

That’s due to selfish human factors

Hope the owners have a good plan for the factory sha so it won't end up like Dangote tomato factory. The government should give them company to import tomato from Europe.

WHAT IS TRUE FEDERALISM?

IF YOU CAN GROW TOMATOES ON A MECHANIZED LEVEL.

PROCESS IT, MARKET IT AND PAY TAX TO THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.

NORTHERN NIGERIA POLITICAL LEADERS ARE JUST TOO AFRAID TO BE SELF DEPENDENT.

THEY PREFER MONEY COMING FROM CRUDE OIL SALES WHICH IS NOT THE BEST FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE NORTHERN PART OF NIGERIA.

IT IS HIGH TIME THE NORTH START BRAIN STORMING.

THEY SHOULD BE THINKING OF ENDING INSURGENCY AND STARTING A MASSIVE MECHANIZED AGRICULTURE.

The Agricultural revolution in Nigeria must start with the northern part of Nigeria and end with the north.

Why ?

It the north that has the bulk of the lands in Nigeria.

But unfortunately they became lazy and spoilt with crude oil money.

The north must end banditry, kidnapping and other forms of insurgency.
