Hi, if you are a Christian, would you work on Sundays? Sundays are the days when you set aside time for service for God. Will you pick up your laptop to do any form of work, or would you rather not?

Every day is to be kept holy and used to glorify God.

Sunday service lasts for just a few hours, less than 10 hours while there are 24 hours in a day. Yet, misguided Christians, when talking about those who work on Sundays, act as if they spend the whole 24 hours of Sunday in Church serving God.

Now, let me answer your question. Working on Sunday is not a sin, as long as the work does not go against humanity. To do a godly work on a Sunday based on necessity is better than going to Church on Sunday and doing an ungodly work on Monday. A nurse or doctor who works on Sunday is serving God through the work while an armed robber who robbed on Saturday and gave a huge offering in Church on Sunday is mocking Christianity.

The ushers or security people at Church gates on Sundays are working. Are you aware of that? Would you say they are committing a sin by standing at the gate instead hearing sermon and dancing unto God inside the Church building?
