*RAMADAN: MONTH OF REFLECTION AND SPIRITUAL IMPROVEMENT, HON. DR. OBAWALE ADEBISI URGES MUSLIM TO BE GUIDED BY THE SPIRIT OF SACRIFICE AND PERSEVERANCE*

The APC House of Representatives candidate for Boluwaduro/Ifedayo/Ila federal constituency, in the last general Election, charged Muslims in the country to use the holy month of Ramadan to pray for our President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and our Country Nigeria, for God’s intervention in the challenges facing the country. He also called for a peaceful coexistence among Nigerians.

“The month of Ramadan is sacred and holy. It is also a month of sober reflection and introspection. I therefore call on our Muslim brothers and sisters to use this holy month to seek God’s intervention in the myriad of challenges facing our country. God did not make a mistake bringing peoples of diverse culture and religion to form a country and today, Nigeria has the best president, courageous and ready to serve,” he said.

Hon.Dr Adebisi Obawale urged Muslim faithful to pray for the peace and development of the country. He called on Nigeria Muslims to spread the message of love, peace and compassion as they prepare for the holy month of Ramadan.

Ramadan is a time when Muslims renew their faith, and when “we strengthen our commitment to lasting peace and development in thought and action through fasting and prayers."

"There are enormous challenges in our midst and we will be facing bigger battles ahead of us, but our collective will as a nation will allow us to be victorious" he said.

During the month of Ramadan, Muslims fast from dawn to sunset. It is a time for self-examination and increased religious devotion, which Muslims are urged to perform with deep prayers, recite the holy Quran, give alms to the poor and refrain from misdeeds.

I welcome our Muslim brothers and sisters to the special Holy month of Ramadan.

Hon. Dr. Obawale Adebisi.
