SoNature:Franchising is one of the fastest ways to grow your business in cities and countries outside of your business location. These companies charge less to nothing for you to use their brand name on your business. You get the name of a huge company, they get free marketing and advertising plus whatever percentage you agree on the deal. 4 Likes |

Business that was started in 1969 when there were no competitions or anyone other company doing the same business, ofcourse, it would be a big success. Most companies that are big with billions in revenues were started 40, 50 or 60 years ago, Cadbury, Macdonald, KFC, Mercedes, Ford, Peogeot, Coca cola and ETC. Try building this kinda big business today, it would be very dfficult, with many companies to competitions and technologies to compete with.. 40 years ago, people wrote letters and send through the posts to companies, to their friends and famlies, send birthday cards. Today people just send emails, text messages, call people on watssap even do live video calls.. |

You didn't state that in 1995 or so to 2000, Deutsche Bundespost Postdienst bought all of its shares and became the owner of DHL, and this company was owned by the German government because the government owned the largest shares in Deutsche Bundespost Postdienst..... so we could say that the German government saw that the company had potential and decided to invest in it and take it to the next level Be like the company is privatized but German government still owns largest shares... 2 Likes 1 Share |

justmi1: Thing is by then, he's got no money( by virtue of contentment) to cushion the effects. If I offer a certain service and after months or years I have the highest customer base, I'll never increase prices anyhow( indomie is a case study) Over years I have been making 10 naira profit. Suddenly the economy gets bad. I start making 5 naira die to cost of production. I won't increase prices cos am still contented with my 5 naira profit; and more importantly, be cos my customer based has not changed much. So am ok with whatever comes into my pocket. The issue with many businesses is the shareholders. They always want to have maximum profits because they are busy squandering profits on many many houses. The average multimillionaire business man in Nigeria has more than 15 houses scattered everywhere both home and abroad. Think about what those houses can do for his business, employees etc. Look at the big banks. How much do bankers who dish out money at the counters earn? Look at chicken republic Mr biggs Tantalizers etc..... It's everywhere. The ogas are busy eating a large chunk of the money. 1 Like |

Why won’t they succeed by building up from scratch to bequeath the thriving companies to their offspring when the companies were built on their sweat , and not by the moneies stole from the state’s coffers, just like lots of African leaders/public office holders do. Racoon: |

The car was a reigning car that time, it was a car that was just manufactured and released into the market that same year 1969. It like saying someone bought a 2024 model car. How many afford that? Those guys had money 💰 which they wisely invested. |
