2 kings 3:15 ' But now bring me a minstrel. And it came to pass, when the minstrel played, that the hand of the Lord came upon him."

The first question is: why the minstrel?

Who is minstrel?

A minstrel is someone who plays musical instruments.
A player of a stringed instrument.

A perfect example is when David played for Saul in the book of Samuel and the spirit of the devil left Saul, so here, David was a minstrel to Saul the king.

Again, the question pumped out,

Why the minstrel?

Elisha in Chapter 2 of 2 king just collected a double portion of the anointing of Elijah, why asking again for someone to play musical instruments for him for the hands of the Lord to be upon, when he has already collected a double portion of the anointing from his boss, Elijah.

Why?

It can only mean that we can actually move the spirit of God in our favor, or connect to the spirit of the Almighty God, if we do certain things, or if we apply certain spiritual exercise.

Some spiritual things we can do to make us move in the spirit or set our prayer lives on fire.

1. Music: Clean Gospel music can actually connect is to the spirit of God.

2. Worshipping God: When you start to worship God, God will not send angel, God will come down, you can pray amiss but you cannot worship amiss.

3. Speaking in tongues: when you speak in tongues, you are already connected.

4: Praises and singing: Bring down the presence of God where there is fullness of God.
