A whole Kaduna State where we have all major army, airforce, navy recruitment and study centres including the NDA,Fulani terrorists turned repentant bandits invaded the NDA and abducted army officers and killed some and nothing happened.
The same Kaduna State is where repentant bokoharam turned bandits kidnapped scores of school children undetected by the military.
The audacity.
I suspect same. There's rumor that Tompolo and his FG empowered militia usually terrorize the forcados coastal line, Tompolo's guys are known to appear in military gear and so the reaction was a reprisal to the constant attacks from the ijaw bully Tompolo and his guys... This was a shady adventure. I advice everyone with relatives in the said community to evacuate them now
Aesthetical:
Twitter majors followed a crew to respond to a distress call
I suspect they went for a shady deal

Putindbutt:

Nigerian Navy are constantly dropping bombs on terrorists/bandits, we have seen them a few times drop bombs on civilians mistaken for bandits. you guys should stop capping bullshit here. Army would level that community in delta.

Forget story.

During Objs term in office, helicopter gunships were sent into the Delta to deal with Tompolo. Tompolo gentle.

Tompolo began sabotaging oil installations in revenge.

We never even talk fighter jet which are far more lethal. The only good thing is that Tunubu would restrain the excesses of the army if he has any sense unlike OBJ who was very permissive.
Aside from been permissive, Obj was also a military man, so he was more of him retaliating on behalf of his kind.

You have these fire in you yet bokoharem is having a field day in the North. Sambisa forest is too big and can accommodate you and your family.

FreedomArmy:
Majority of the soldiers in the south are northern Muslims and see nothing wrong in attacking a whole Christian village for the slightest provocation

The entire Nigerian Military is dominated by Muslim North and the South West. South East and South South no like military work. The two regions don't even fill up their quotas.

That's why the two regions are always being begged to join the military, especially soldiers of the lowest cadre (non-commissioned officers) and not NDA level. Getting a slot for the commissioned officer level is based on man know man (nepotism).

The military had vowed to arrest and bring to justice the perpetrators of the gruesome murder of the army personnel

by all means they should fish out and destroy the perpetrators but they should bring the same energy to the north

When will the army revenge over the killings of their colleagues in the north or are they afraid of northerners?
You will get multiple answers if you are bold enough to stop hiding under nairaland and come out to openly ask your questions. Coward.

How important is this person that army sent over 16 soldiers including captains and majors to rescue

There are lots of questions begin for answers, however the action of the Felton youths is unacceptable

But the army should also Channel this same energy towards bandits and boko haram

I guess we'll never know because our best investigate journalist are the ones with the biggest stomachs ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ No field work whatsoever.
