If Nigeria finally stop importation of fuel next month as promised, how much will the FAAC be?

State governors should empathize and make the riches reflect on their workers salary. Some governors are still paying less than 30,000 as minimum wage. This is wickedness.

Joey4321:
What is FAAC?

Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) distributed N2.07 trillion to the three levels of government from the revenue collected in January 2024.

It was usually between 600 and 700 billion

Yes the state governors are smiling to the banks now. Anambra used to get between 4-5 billion monthly, now it's 8-10 billion.

That's wonderful then, if we can trust Tinubu to implement great policies for this country, then we're good to go.

Soludo said yesterday that there is what is called the economic value of money

Inflation has made 8-10 billion now become 2.5billion during PDP era

That is why the developments are not commensurate with the increase so it is useless

He said it just yesterday and it is true

Naira has lost about 300% Of it’s value or more. So stop hyping the increase in monthly allocation. Not even one state can roll out CNG buses to show the increase is useless

if he knows like that, why hasn't he increased the workers salary in his state

Good. The 2024 FDI already exceeded $1bn compared to same time last year.

Slow and steady

This is higher than Nigeria budget as at 2008 down.

I hope the Governors make good use of the revenue for the betterment of the people.

As dollar increases, the monthly allocation increases, because it's pegged to our crude oil sales. When dollar crashes to around ₦1000 later this year, the allocation will also decrease sharply. But in all, the intrinsic value of naira will increase tremendously.
