Team Nigeria won gold at the ongoing African games in the mixed 4x400m relay after Nigeria's Omolara Ogunmakinju chased down Botswana's Kamberuka Obakeng.

Team Nigeria was way behind on the final race and it took Omolara a lot of determination to close down and overtake the Botswana athlete who couldn't keep momentum as she got tired towards the end of the race.

This is a clear indication that determination brings about success.
