Do you expect it to jump down to 200 overnight? Appreciate the gradual development.

It is a pitiable dismal pissmal, it is regrettably lugubrious that a small rise is now celebrated when the fall to the current stage was almost endless and have caused so many things badly.

We know where it was before they came for the thorough house cleansing that brought us now down to our feet.

I'm not impressed with the numbers they are throwing around until it starts translating to lower prices for goods and services. Whenever you complain about high cost of commodities, they are quick to tell you "Dollar don rise", but now that dollar is falling, the costs aren't dropping. Make we see wetin go happen in coming weeks/months with this Naira appreciation (which is very good on the surface o)

Without foreign earnings, I don't think these gains are sustainable. Let's encourage local production exportation, encourage trades in naira and reduce the volume of goods we import. Naira will rise naturally and permanently. Not this artificial temporary rise.

Hahaha
It was official news whatever they means. Punch newspaper reported it.

It said the allocation would be sold at a rate of N1,301/$, reflecting the lower band rate of executed spot transactions at the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market as of the previous trading day, dated February 27, 2024.

This means BDCs will buy at N1,301 and sell at ₦1,314.01.

CAPITAL BIG LIES!!!!

I deal with Economics data analysis.
The fall across the Board against almost all currencies been Pounds or Eur, it was due to what America FED (Just like CBN for Nigeria ,is FED for USA).
The FED decided to keep the National Interest Rate on Changed 5.5%.
Note: - CBN is trying but they are not responsible for this recent developments.
Are you an Economic graduate/ Very good at Economics, I have a project and will pay or If you know anyone who is a very good economics graduate or student.
