25 Inmates who have spent 7-15 years at the Port Harcourt correctional center were granted pardon today by Justice Simon Amadi, the Chief Justice of Rivers State during his jail delivery service in the State. Orinews reports that the Chief Justice advised the pardoned inmates to turn a leave, go back to the society to become good citizens and not bad, "dont go back to your old ways, no gain in cultism". Justice S.C Amadi also revealed that the correctional centers are for corrections and not a place of abandonment.
