In a shocking turn of events, Emdee Tiamiyu, a Nigeria YouTuber and well-known gatekeeper in the UK, has been arrested by the UK government for allegedly defrauding the system. Tiamiyu gained widespread attention after a viral video of him circulated online, leading him to file for asylum in the UK.

He has allegedly been arrested in the UK and is set to be sentenced to 10 years imprisonment for defrauding the UK government to the tone of over £160k.

However, it is now alleged that he deceitfully collected funds from the UK government and returned to Nigeria to build a lavish mansion in Ogun state.

The Sparklightnews report, Tiamiyu’s asylum claim was based on the attention garnered from the viral video, which depicted him in a sympathetic light. After receiving financial assistance from the UK government of £160k, Tiamiyu purportedly used a portion of the funds to construct a luxurious mansion for himself in Ogun state, Nigeria.
