In the halls of power, a plot unfolds to impeach a leader, a story yet untold, But setbacks arise, as two panel members decline to partake in a mission, deemed unjust and malign

Professors of integrity, standing strong and true, Refusing to be swayed by the powers that pursue, Their replacements named to carry out the deed, But justice will prevail, in the face of this greed

The judiciary's independence, a pillar of democracy, Challenged by actions of the Assembly's hypocrisy, Ignoring court summons, harassing those who seek to uphold the law, in a system so weak

But the people are watching, they see through the lies, They know the truth, behind the disguise, Governor Obaseki's refusals, to honor the law will not go unnoticed, for justice they draw

In the midst of turmoil, in the heart of the storm
Stand firm, Deputy Governor Shaibu, remain warm for the people's support, their voices loud and clear will echo through the halls, for all to hear

The plot may thicken, the drama may unfold,
But in the end, truth and justice will hold and Edo State will rise above the fray with leaders of honor, leading the way.
