Gov. Babagana Zulum of Borno has approved the appointment of 168 assistants and 104 board members for the 15 agencies and commissions of the state.

This is contained in a statement issued by the Secretary to the Borno State Government (SSG), Alhaji Bukar Tijjani, on Monday in Maiduguri.

He said the appointees comprised of nine Senior Technical Assistants (STA), 81 Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and 78 Special Assistants (SAs).

The SSG also listed 104 others as Chairmen and Board members of 15 agencies and commissions.

The appointment, the SSG said, was done based on powers conferred on the governor by the provisions of Section 208(2)d of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999, as amended.

“The governor congratulates the appointees and looks forward to their contributions to the development of Borno,” the SSG said.

Ps: I wonder how many are "communications and/or media aides". Because propaganda is very important

He is done with governance, time to settle the boys who worked for his emergence before his tenure ends.
Now let's focus on the most hard working governors with visions Alex Otti of Abia and Bago of Niger State.

Zulum has reached his peak and wants to start playing politics by appointing hundreds of aides like Wike did in Rivers State with a mandate to deliver their wards by rigging or by voting

This is what happen when a state that barely has any manufacturing companies or private investors drives everyone away with terrorism and banditry.

Now the governor has to literally employ everyone. Development will be the same 20 years from.
