I have had this thing on my finger for over a year now and it hurts a lot sometimes and anytime something or someone hits me at the spot. I can't even handshake my fellow guy because it will touch the affected part and a little touch can cause an unbearable pain that can make a grown up man shed tears of sorrow...

You will be alright. Just visit the hospital and get rid of it with surgical blade and a well dress bandage. I'm months time ur hand will heal and you can shake hands with your fellow guys.
