MKEENEM MOSES INAUGURATED AS MEMBER, DRUG ABUSE CONTROL COMMITTEE IN BENUE STATE

The Drug Abuse Control Committee (DACC) has inaugurated the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Benue State on Youth Mobilization and Empowerment/State Youth Leader, Hon. Mkeenem Moses, as its member in Benue State

The inauguration took place Tuesday during a maiden meeting of the committee held in the state cabinet office, Makurdi.

The DCC which is constituted by the Benue State Government has the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) Prof. Joseph Alakali as chairman while its mandate is to revive the docile Benue State drug control to be more vibrant and active and to also carry out enlightenment programs across the state to different target audience among other notable goals.

The inaugural meeting was graced by the Immigration Service, Federal Road Safety Commission, National Orientation Agency, Commandant of Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Benue State chapter, chairman of pharmacists Association, Benue State, and the Assistant commissioner of police incharge of operations in Benue State all in representative capacities.
