I don't like Tinubu, but making leadership all about age is not smart. Age doesn't absolve one from corruption. Both the old and young steal. Same way age doesn't translate to brilliance. We have dumb youths, also dumb old people. Leadership is the will to govern, and govern with empathy, integrity and for the common good of the people, which doesn't require that one must be of particular age before it is possible. My choice of leadership is as long he/she is strong and healthy (though old age is prone to bad health, but not necessarily is), with the requisite leadership qualities, he should be given a chance. |

Rubbish. Tinubu's incompetence has nothing to do with his old age. Also being young is NEVER a guarantee of success in leadership,ANYWHERE,in the world,talkless of Africa where institutions are run at the whims and caprices of the man at the top. Yahaya Bello was also in his 40's when he became governor,he was a disaster. Also going by this your line of thought,Peter Obi should not be contesting for the presidency since he is in his 60's.
