The insecurity challenges has made it clear that we need more proactive measures to combat these terrorists, kidnappers and armed robbers.

First and foremost we must secure our police stations where we keep these enemies of the state, all police stations should have.

Tower sentry post, elevated and fitted with artillery gunfire, this will help hold back any terrorists or criminal groups that seek to invade police stations and release criminals, till back up arrive. Going round Nigerian police stations, some are very easy to invade and take over...the use of boulders, obstacles and numerous security points before reaching the main prison walls should be adopted.

Wild police dogs should be kept around prison formations and surrounding areas, train them how to track, chase and attack criminals attempting to escape etc.

Each region should have a states backed regional militias, speed out across the Forests and highways to complement the work of the army and police, to secure the borders and fringes of each region, so terrorists and kidnappers can not move freely. For instance without such regional force, Fulani terrorists and Ipob will keep spreading, and blending in, but these militia is to stop anyone coming into the region and checking them effectively to be sure they are responsible citizens.

Nigerian government must consider legalizing guns for vetted Nigerian citizens, who are responsible, with no criminal records and found to be doing legitimate jobs, we need to put guns in the hands of good citizens, right now the guns are all in the hands of criminals, except the conventional forces of course.

Nigerian government should train wild dogs, lions and release them into the forest, this will make the forests uncomfortable to stay fir terrorists, government should deploy armed surveillance drones, anyone living in the forests should be bombed...our forests should be utilized for game reserves, gun range training, and for building bases fir our regional and state militias of government. Take over the forests.

Nigerian government should have a special squad that will target and eliminate enemies of the state, terrorists and other such criminals, who are wanted dead or alive. This squad should act clandestinely, in secrecy, something like the Russian FSB, this will strike fear in the hearts of terrorists kingpins, their sponsors and collaborators.

State police is necessary, any state that don't want it should be left behind, those that want it, it should be approved. Federal government should not be waiting for those that have no interest. Pass it in the national assembly, giving states the rights, those that want it should start theirs. We are a federation unit, the burden and inefficiency of one state should not be shared by all states.

Our military should have special squads, equipped with laser beams, high velocity gun fire, fully geared and equipped, something like the American seals.
