The south west care about southern unity but voted for Tambuwal to be Speaker against their own daughter Mulikat Akande from Oyo state thereby preventing her from becoming Speaker of the house.
The South West killed the Southern Senators Forum before but only revived it now cause they don't want their actions to be seen like a fight between the South West against the North, rather a fight by the collective South against Northern intimidation which is just a smokescreen to mask their true intention.
