The dissidents led by Owelle Mbaso are mercenaries. BY Chinedu Obigwe

Those parading themselves as former political appointees that issued a communique after a meeting they allegedly had at Best Western Meloch Hotel are ungrateful rebels in APGA that decamped to APC long time ago.

They are using agitation for the payment of severance allowance to lure people into their camp and deceive the gullible minded.

The truth is that Fmr Governor Obiano that is the Principal of the former appointees referred to Owelle Mbaso as a mercenary that is not in a position to lead his appointees.

Unfolding events has vindicated Fmr Governor Obiano and many others that shares the same opinion with him.

Those that assembled for Owelle Mbaso so called town hall meeting at Best Western Meloch Hotel are ungrateful rebels in APGA.

They have been identified long time ago as rebels and that made those that worked with Fmr Governor Obiano that has the interest of APGA at heart to be avoiding them like lepers.

I will react to the 4 points the rebels led by Owelle Mbaso raised in their recent published communique.

1) They claimed that Governor Soludo has refused to pay the severance allowance of the former appointees but that is a concocted tissue of lies from the pit of hell. The only thing I know that will happen is that those rebelling against APGA because of their defection to opposition parties will go and take their clothes where they had their bath. But the interest of loyal members of the party will be accommodated.

2) The rebel group led by Owelle Mbaso claimed that Governor Soludo made several demeaning comments against the Fmr appointees , that is another fabricated lie. The only thing Governor Soludo did was that he told them the painful truth .

3) They claimed that they waited patiently but they did not do anything like that because they defected to other opposition parties even before the meeting the Governor had with former appointees on 17th December.

4) They ended by saying that they unanimously decided to join APC .

It is not today that they joined APC, they did that long time ago and have been frolicking with ifeanyi Ubah.

The only good thing about what they did is that they openly confessed their membership of APC to the general public.

Back to what Fmr Governor Obiano said about Owelle Mbaso in an open platform.

He referred to him as a mercenary and that is to say that he does not have the moral justification to parade himself as leader of former appointees.

What that reference implies is that Owelle Mbaso is an impostor and not the leader of the appointees that worked for Fmr Governor Obiano.

The general public are advised to ignore the senseless communique issued by the rebels led by Owelle Mbaso.

Daalu nu.
