There was a lot of emotional display of grief as officials of the Oyo state housing corporation in collaboration with suspected rouge elements of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense corp have been said to demolish properties sited on a federal setback along Iwo-Road/Ojoo axis on Wednesday 4th April. Business owners at the site of demolition claimed to have federal permit to use the setback space for their businesses and should have no issues with the Oyo state government since it is federal land.
Eyewitnesses claimed the NSCDC officers whipped whoever dared to film the procedure hence the suspicions of fowl play.
