Change is gradual, change is painful, all the countries who are enjoying stable electricity must have gone through this our current situation.

We claimed we need stable electricity, now that we have been given the new electricity tariff rate, it has been one excuse after the other. Even with the new tariff, it still save money compared to alternatives like generator/solar, that's if the light is stable.

How much do we spend on unnecessary things like Owambe's, religious program or partying in general?

The current rate would still be slashed , the power company also need to rake money to improve their service

Or perhaps we want stable electricity for free

Sir, please, take it easy with yourself. I always respect you and your contributions, but on this one, I will suggest you take some rest and do some self-assessment and reflection.

First, on the other thread, I thought you were just trolling but this show lack of empathy for the millions of Nigeria who have not recovered from the shock of fuel subsidy removal and the general commodity price hike.

This kind of jamboree make me want to ask about how old you are? and whether you have ever paid any electricity bill before or you're still living with your parent. But I Believe you are a responsible individual and will take caution.

Not everything is about politics. You will soon become a parent. Nigerians are going through a lot.

This is the same lack of empathy some people were displaying during the cash crunch December 2022 through January 2023. This is a country fill with abundance of natural resources (and Human resources), but the people live in lowest of all abject poverty and the political class sharing the profit only among themselves.

I still respect you and believe you will take caution.

Helinues you spent 8 wasted years defending buhari failures here, even when he closed border and price of things went up.

You're about to spend another 4yrs defending tinupoo cluelessness...are you not ashamed of what you support??

Are you sure you don't need serious m®ntal help?

Bro, let's put politics or sentiments aside, the same electricity have been improving in the last 1 year without them increasing their tariffs, if they now increase their tariffs, why can't we give them the chance first and see if there would be an improvement with the duration of power supplied.

From this new rate, they should be able to rake something reasonable to improve their services, the better their service, the more customers, the more customers, the rate will definitely drop.

Isn't it better for the rate to go from high to low than to go from low to high high high?

Have you ever pay for electricity? If yes, can you show us your receipt for recent payment.

I live in Ibadan, and I can tell the power supply for the whole of this week (6 days) is not up to 40 hours, but my house is classified as Band A.

Show me your receipt of recent electricity purchase to confirm you're still not living with your parent.

I have already written about those who have been classed to wrong band should speak out. There is a news , yesterday I think from the Disco talking about the adjustment of the band given to some areas.

If people are classes to the right band, the new tariff won't have much effects

Even if you have the money for band A+ and NEPA decides to put your area in Band D, nothing can be done

I beg, remove Owambe from your analogy. Don't let the gods of Yoruba land to deal with you. Owambe is our Culture. Owambe is our Heritage.
