On April 7, 2021 nnpcl signed a contract with tecnimont spa to rehabilitate port harcourt refinery worth $1.5 billion. The refinery which is undergoing an upgrade will begin by processing 60,000 barrels per day bpd, and nnpc expects to operate at the full capacity of 210000 bpd later this year. The current managing director of nnpc Mele Kyari also told the Senate that over 450, 000 barrels of oil had been stocked into the Port Harcourt refinery. It's been 3 weeks now since he announced that the refinery will start production in 2 weeks time. This is a critical part of the economy which should be dealt with matter of urgency.

Why is nnpc delaying the production of refine crude in port harcourt refinery? We need to ask the right questions instead of defending this government all the time.

The real lovers of Nigeria are those who speak out in the face of deceit.

Asking for an update on the PH refinery after various promises by the government is the right thing to do.

We did it under OBJ, we did it under GEJ. Why some persons now think it is wrong to question an apc government on the same matter is what baffles me.

Is the apc above been questioned? Why do thier supporters not want anyone to speak out against bad governance?

The real enemies of Nigeria are the apc supporters who want everyone to be silent in the face of obvious rudderless and suffering inducing leaders.

That is how they praised buhari for 8 years and today, everyone can see the mess he left Nigeria in. And now they want people to keep quiet while the present administration keeps doing nonsense.

We need to change our mentality as nigerians. Go to other African countries they are more organised than we the so called giant of Africa. We need to check the government all the time so they can sit up

I know someone who works at the refinery, and he said the refinery will start operation in 2028.

I am sure Tinubu is on the neck of Mele Kyari asking him similar questions. NNPC never wants any refineries to be resuscitated. Because they have been feeding fat on subsidy money. But Kyari knows that Tinubu is impatient and will fire him if he does not deliver.

Feel free to do so.

Those who want a better Nigeria will hold the apc to account since that is the party at the helm of affairs.
