I'm reaching out with a heavy heart today. My poor little infant has developed a concerning skin condition, and I'm feeling quite worried. As you can see in the attached image, there are red spots all over his delicate skin, his head
Hand, neck, buttocks and back spreading to his legs.

Over the past few weeks, I've tried various remedies, including Tribotan, Sudocream, Vista Plus, and Bitoderm, and seen two different pediatricians who recommended drugs but nothing seems to be helping.

Are you doing exclusive breastfeeding. What are you eating?
Are you on any deugs or medication?

Pls take her to teaching hospital ASAP... No hospital on nairaland

Not a medic .... but here's my two kobo. Is the place hot? ... the first set of rashes may be heat related .... but made worse by the medications. Medications for adults are not formulated the same for infants.... they have contents that are harmful to infants. We're the medications for infants? SMA Gold or Platinum or whatever is nowhere as good as breast milk. The rashes may very well be an allergic reaction to the SMA Gold formula.... which may even be fake. Did the rashes begin after you introduced the SMA? If yes... then that may be cause. Then we can move to bed bugs..... have you checked the bed?... the sheets?... use your phone light and camera to magnify and check. Completely change bedding. Then what detergent do you use to wash the bedding? ... the chemicals may be irritating his skin and causing the rashes. Change detergent ... use less ...and rinse clothes/bedding thoroughly . Blend neem leaves ... add to bath water .... it will get rid of any bed bug or such .... and will repair the skin. Lastly .... seek advice from the elderly .... they most likely have seen such many times many and know exactly what to recommend. Two kobo spent.
