the government and their agents are jesters to expect local industries to produce what we need in the face of inflation , insecurity and crumbled agric sector , ,you can not wait for such growth while you starve the populace for almost a decade of border closure with nothing to show for it, this approach can't work if it hasn't yielded in the last 9yrs! it's just a tactless economic policy, Jonathan did and reversed it when he saw hunger ahead, the approach is to grow and support local industries to compete with exports before you close borders not the other way round, government is run by unskilled person's in Management and leadership that's why we start from top instead of bottom! remember the slogan from top to bottom, we started with the last phase -border closure and now want to grow while hungry |

Only mass science education in our native languages would put and end to the problem, not inviting "experts from those countries" to come and provide the things we need. Unfortunately, colonialism has put this simple solution completely off our thought radar. 1 Like |

If you investigate this politician that is against border reopening,he doesn't patronised locally made goods. He doesn't patronised local hospital. His children are having their education abroad. Is he not a hypocrite and double standard? This local manufacturers are exploiting Nigerians. They are not creating jobs.Do you know how many CVs I submitted in various manufacturing sector without a call for job interview? Do you even have a steady power supply to start with? |
