Tinubu and Umahi should leave the coastal road for next government if they are bereft of sense.

You want to use the oil money from the coastal states to do a project and charge N3500 per toll for approx 14 toll points.

How much are you charging for the Kano-Maradi route please or any highway in the North?

Modified:
Why are our southerners this daft? You toll second Niger bridge, you want to to Lagos - Calabar route, why not build multiple rail lines for passengers trains and haulage trains instead?

Who knows. You could make a guess based on train routes in the north. They could build a train instead if you don't want a toll road.

After your 2023 PVC idiocy, you are hoping to repeat another round of PVC idiocy in 2027 to change the government how exactly? With your useless PVC's?
Instead of fighting for your freedom so you can manage your resources and build your roads/infrastructures by yourself, you are at ease with remaining a slave and complaining online year in year out. Some of you obidioooots are so daft and dumb.

Boya make Dem forget about the road and commit that money to an industry or venture that will employ more Nigerians and out food on their tables instead of taken from the already impoverished people, 3k per toll is crazy to be honest, for a country of 30k minimum wage

If you don't want the toll, use the train.

For all those shouting "do they toll train?", your education is suspect as your reasoning can show. FG government used South-South oil money to build a standard guage rail from Kano to Niger for the benefits of Northerners. Now you want to build in the the states that generate 90% of our resources, the first thing that you think of is to toll the highway. Built multiple rail lines instead. In Europe most long distance journey are by rail and you do not wait more than 20min to catch one.
Someone mentioned alternative roads. Please, can you tell me any road in Nigeria that is ever maintained once a new one is in place. The Benin-Ore to Ijebu-Ode is already abandoned to armed robbers and kidnappers. The Benin- Auchi through Okene to Kotonkarfi is no go area. The Enugu-PH is struggling, yet in the same country, you have highways striding up north without a single toll point. Then, we come online to defend the defenseless.

Southerners, our MUMU never do?

I do not want to report you but I will respond to you as a goat. You sit behind a computer to type trash, without using your common sense. How much does the core north and Niger Republic contribute to our national purse? Why did Buhari deem it fit to pursue a Kano-Maradi line instead of the Coastal line conceived over 20 years ago?
Because Tinubu is president should not make you to lose common sense. Ask yourself how many roads are tolled in ALL OF NORTHERN NIGERIA?
Why is it that it is only in the South, especially South-South that generate 90% of our resources that Tinubu wants to milk in the form of tolling. You use our oil money to build other places, then turn around to tell us about tolling the only SINGULAIR project that would benefit South-South.?

You called me Tribalistic MUMU. Thank you! We all Nigerians know which tribes are TRIBALISTS. Just take a look at the current government and tell me which tribe is most Tribalistic. You, yourself know how GEJ government was more nationalisticthan what we have now. Just take a look at Tinubu's appointments. What do you see? Do you not see TRIBALISM?. So quit calling others what you are.

I don't think people (except the usual suspects) should say "PIM" about this daylight robbery being perpetrated on them by Tinubu and his friends, the Chaugary brothers. In reality, this is not a PPP project.

This road is being built 100 percent with our stolen money, the total cost of which is inflated by 400-500 percent to include the money siphoned off in advance.

So let them do the road, but only if it goes beyond Lagos, which I suspect it will not. In the unlikely event that it goes further south, we will quickly remember that it was built with our oil and gas money, so it will amount to double taxation if we are charged a toll on our own road.

There's a reason Nigeria hasn't tolled any road in the north yet. We need to adopt that strategy on this one, and thereafter until these people start doing the right thing.
