The Iranians are scared of attacking Israel because they are quite aware of the grave consequences of such action! Israel will never allow Iran to have nuclear arms. It is therefore a matter of time,the inevitable war between Israel and Iran will happen. It MUST happen for the security of Israel and protection of its interests in the Middle East.

Israel is ready to provoke Iran to a direct war so as to be able to finally cut off the evil snake's head which Tehran represents. Even if Iran refuses to retaliate against Israel for the bombing of its consular building in Syria,and especially the killing of its revolutionary guards' Generals and soldiers,Israel will still launch another attack against Iran very soon!

The best bet for Iran is to attack Israel by its proxies in the middle East,
A direct attack on Israel originating from Iran territory will be seen as provocative, and Israel will likely strike Iran too
Which will cause catastrophic consequences for both countries.
The fact still remains that Iran it's not hamas or hazebollah, it's carries a huge amount of threat on a different level as hamas and co, especially with it's robust ICBM capabilities.
I doubt if Iran would want to escalate tensions and also I doubt if Israel is ready to open a new front in its battle.
Isreal Western Allie's will be critical to it's victory if Iran were to attack

Iran's missiles does not have the range capacity to directly hit Isreal, it may launch the missiles from neighboring countries though...but the distance between Iran and Isreal is considerable.

Many people will think Iran spends billions of dollars yearly backing Hezbollah, Houthis rebels, Hashd all-Shaabi and other violent groups in the middle east and Africa is just because of Israel. Their main aim is to eliminate all Monarchy Government in Islamic countries. They said Monarchy Government is un-Islamic.
