Nigeria needs to export for foreign exchange. Sicme dangote Will be selling in Naira, then he probably will be buying from fg using Naira

Note if Dangote is buying in Naira, the pressure to demand for Dollar will also reduce which will give value to Naira

If they explain Nigeria to you and you understand.....that person didn't explain it well...na lamb e dey give you.

Thought they told us even dangote and other local refineries can't see crude to buy because buhari government has sold everything in advance.

They are now telling us they can't see buyers for our crude oil again.
I just tire in all these. They will be shouting there is no crude to local refineries but see them hawking the same crude on the international market. Who can explain this confusion please

Reading about Nigeria's struggle to find buyers for 30 cargoes of oil is quite surprising. Wasn't the previous government of Buhari reported to have sold off most of our oil in advance? Where did all these extra oil cargoes suddenly come from? It raises questions about transparency in government dealings. Transparency is crucial for both development and attracting investors. Without clear and honest information about our resources and contracts, it's challenging to build trust and make informed decisions.

Before no oil to sell
Now that oil money goes directly to CBN account, there is excess oil, something is fishing.

Why not sell to Dangote refinery?
Learned Dangote import oil to refine last week .

Oil is becoming a stale business with the current drive for green energy as fight against climate change deepens.

The Nigerian government needs to diversify as soon as possible if not, we would be left behind again.

The thing tire me ooo. Dangote in Nigeria buys crude from faraway US and do expenses to take it to Nigeria. Nigeria, Dangote's home country cannot find it's crude oil buyers. Who is deceiving who?
omowolewa:
Na lie

What happened to selling it to Dangote Refinery that currently buys oil from USA. Bonny light is sweeter.

What happened to the forwards contracs, go and Dock the ships at their yard, let them pay demorage.

When it comes to National income, just see Nigeria as one entity using one single account. The activities of one entity affects us generally.

What difference will selling out of Nigeria and buying into Nigeria have, if not increased Transportation cost which may be citizen's gain.

Why are we so confused in this country...dangote bought 2 million barrels all the way from USA.. now we are saying we dey struggle to find buyers...sell the goddamn oil to dangote..let the price reduce for the masses.
Infact we need these APC nairaland men to explain this magic to us.
Because I can't even understand, our crude oil has been bought into the future so no crude oil to sell to dangote.
Now dangote imported from USA , you now tell Nigerians that we have crude oil no one wants to buy from us.
Is that not insane?
What sort of magic is that? Why not sell part to dangote to drive the price of diesel down which in turn suppress inflation!

A government that promised us port Harcourt refinery last year December, since then we've not seen anything.

Keep ur dollars ooo, something is not right with this present situation, dollars going down, prices going up. Someone told me importers have stopped buying goods cause they don’t understand what’s happening that why there is less demand for dollars. Now we can’t sell our crude to get foreign exchange. Hope we don’t have an economic meltdown soon.
