Families and relatives of the schoolgirls abducted by Boko Haram from a secondary school in Chibok a decade ago have expressed frustration with the Nigerian government’s perceived inaction regarding the fate of the remaining captives.

Dr. Allen Manasseh, a former spokesman for the Chibok community and relative of some of the abducted girls, lamented the lack of updates from the government regarding the April 14, 2014 kidnapping. He criticized the government’s apparent disregard for the ongoing suffering of the affected families.
