Because of the appreciation of the Naira.

Not because Alhaji has done anything.

All the man does is profiteer and launder the money of corrupt elements.

Though I disagree with that guy quoting outrageous price, retailers can fix any price they want.

There is no difference btwn you and the guy you disagreed with ... undecided
There is something called Profit Margin, which is computed from production cost,
no retailer can just wake and sell Coke/pepsi for 500 except lounge & 5 star restaurants

E.g Fuel pump price is #620 at filling station, but the retailer in my area from keg sells @ 660 .. meaning her profit margin is guided

Is the retailer in your area not selling at the price he or she want?

Some people won't be happy as you are listing these good things within one year of Tinubu's administration ooo. They prefer we list negative things. Meanwhile, we are not hearing anything from their region apart from the gutters that Otti is building. How many km of gutters has he done now?

Don’t mind those one. Nobody Dey take them serious again.

And in your supposed wise opinion, you think Nigeria can achieve the level of industrialisation it requires within 4 or even 8 years?

Do you have any idea what china went through to get where they are today.....if govt were to begin to implement something close to that, u will be the first to lampoon govt

Diesel stopped being subsidised under Obasanjo. Say what you know
phased removal.....which is why every govt that came after him can claim they did the same thing.....if it was a complete removal Inflation would have skyrocket and killed his govt.....even up until his last day in office he was still removing subsidy

Production = Industrialization?

How about massive agricultural production for a start? Petroleum products production?

you are just on point to what am thinking. Aliko dangote has been milking Nigerian Economy dry. he is the brain behind suffering Nigerians in the name of Providing solution. Untill the final price for the final consumers is known this is not worthy to celebrate.

nedu666:
What are you celebrating? Dangote deals with wholesalers or major distributors. If he sells at 1k to them, how much will they sell to retailers and how much will retailers sell to final consumers. Las Las price will still come up to 1400 or 1500. Outside lagos 1700 or 1800. So what are we celebrating
