Obviouslyblunt: Exactly and I think this blanket judgement of all Obidients as enemies of Nigeria is myopic and reeks of intellectual laziness. If for anything, some of us joined the movement for the sake of this country and then, that of equity and fairness, which giving a south easterner a chance, represents. Now, if that didn't work out, doesn't translate to us wishing evil over our country and like someone posited, the opposition stance is also serving to engender transparency, while keeping the government on her toes. I, for one, though a staunch Obidient, keeps praying for the sustenance of whatever genius Cardoso's been employing to drive the rate down according to biblical admonition to pray for leaders everywhere that we may lead peaceable lives. Afterall, there are many other things one can do with money otherwise spent these days on basic things, than necessary. |

Even after this, some people will still believe the CBN is defending the Naira. The worse mistake anyman can make is to try to convince people who have often show they have no brain. |

emkz:For me, you are just wasting your time trying to change the mind set of these people. The same set of people that were fed with lies and they believed that the President of a nation as big as Nigeria died and was cloned. It was so difficult for me to see that a sensible person could believe that story. I honestly stopped arguing with them since that episode. |

Heavensent01: Stop been tribalistic. What has Igbo got to do with the economics of the nation. The thread is talking about how the nation would grow if the FG through CBN are not been cosmetic about their intentions to bring down the dollar price. You are here fanning the ambers of Tribalism. Be objective and opine constructively and leave ethnicity alone. |

Bkelly2: They've the highest retailers in Nigeria and they keep inflating price unnecessarily, so it has a lot to do with them You can't keep wishing Nigeria bad because you lost, that's senselessness |
Re: Data Shows CBN Not Defending Naira With FX Reserves - Businessday by Bkelly2: 8:26am On Apr 30 |
Heavensent01: How do they inflate prices? As a businessman, you sell as you buy. So you mean the Igbos should sell at lower price than the cost of their goods? The Nigerian economy has nothing to do with the Igbos... They are simply doing their business. The macro and micro economic policies of the govt is what affects the economy and also affects how the so called Igbos manages their businesses. So you cannot single them out to be the problem of the economy. |
