I am not saying he shouldn't speak up, he can speak up without noising about it.
He could have spoke up in a much more dignified manner. Not shouting about, it's shows serious lack of self control and manners and this is supposed to be a leader. This is someone who is supposed to think with his head not with his heart.

He could call Ortom out when given his chance to speak, that way his message would have carried more weight, he could also have called Ortom aside and express himself.
