Trueprophet91:
Everybody in the north should be armed.
The government is not doing anything about insecurity in the north.
In one prung we have the Boko Haram, in the other prung we have the Fulani herdsmen and bandits on rampage , sacking communities, shooting and hacking people to death at their whims.

What is government doing?
Nothing!

Solution: everybody get a gun.

Thank you!

Don't turn Nigeria into Haiti type gangsters nation.

An innocent Nigerian of Ondo State origin was gunned down by thugs in Indianapolis in the US just this week because of proliferation of guns.

Therefore no legalisation of firearms in Nigeria.

The Nigeria government should conduct house to house search in the North.

It's difficult..... Most of these weapons are stored in desert and rocky areas..... In Forest areas also...... The north have vast land mass..... It's very very very difficult.

The rich also cry. The political elites are in panicky mode. Years of subjugation are gradually coming to an end. Legalize arms for self defense and see as insecurity disappears like fog in hot African summer

RUSSIA IS THE BIGGEST SUPPLIER OF FIREARMS TO TERRORISTS IN AFRICA AND MIDDLE EAST.

Through their darkweb network of smugglers, they penetrate all areas to supply to the best bidder. That's reason why most of the guns used by these terrorists are Russian made old and World war 2 guns.

Also, check Iran, North Korea. Despite the ban and the restrictions on acquiring weapons and components for lethal weapon development, they have access to them through darkweb and these are made available through Russian mafias sponsored by the government who have their way to bypass the restrictions through darkweb, crypto currency and the rest.

The time you guys know that the biggest threat to human existence is Russia and their co-enablers like China, Iran. Time will tell

The fabricators of the firearms has very useful info on the movement of bandits and kidnappers in the North, because they also do other runnings like servicing, and mobilization of the firearms. They're operating under the guise of Vigilante groups or Northern Youth Empowerment Scheme, wearing SF T-shirts, and moving about in town without being cautioned

So there is a market for illegal fire arms in the the north? And he has the audacity to come and tell us that it booming, well he is the national advicer to the president on security issues so they had better tackle it.

Sometimes one wonders if government officials have lost it in Nigeria. Lamenting Ribadu is the man in charge of advising the president of Nigeria on security.

Truth is: there is no ending to insecurity in Nigeria until the 12 northern Nigeria sharia states get their Islamic Republic of Arewa. The bandits are offshoots of Boko Haram fighting for a country to be governed with Sharia criminal laws; the same laws adopted by the political and religious leaders in the 12 far north states of Nigeria.
For now, the sharia states still cling on to Nigeria because of lucre in the south.

The whole reason Luggard amalgamated the North and south was for the richer south to subsidze the poorer north. Over 100 years later, nothing has changed. Southern oil, gas and VAT revenue flows to the North, and still they remain poor, uneducated, and retched. It's a proven FACT that southern presidents create more wealth for the nation (OBJ, GEJ and now BAT). No notherner should be allowed to rule Nigeria, unless he can show how he has REDUCED poverty his part of the north. All the northern rulers know is spend spend spend. No clue on how to generate funds

The other thing that MUST change is all aspects of quota system. The north can NEVER progress when its people are not properly educated.

The Elites there keep embezzling all their entitlements from the federal allocations and give them just sycophancy and religion...
