The police should not just at the withdrawal of the policemen but they must also be punished for obstructing another security agency from carrying out it's constitutionally assigned duties.

They can't get them punished. The current Governor of Kogi State has immunity, and there is no way police officers could have stopped a sitting Governor from whisking away Yahaya Bello. Yahaya Bello should have followed what the former governor of ekiti state; Peter Fayoshe did. He boldly printed on his polo; EFCC HERE AM I and went to their office. He was cleared because his hands were clean, but yahaya bello's attitude clearly shows that he has a skeleton in his cupboard hence, evading arrest.
