In a swift and decisive response to the fuel scarcity that hit the state this morning, Governor Pastor Umo Eno has intervened, meeting with key stakeholders in the petroleum marketing sector to resolve the issue and restore normalcy to the state.

According to a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ekerete Udoh, the fuel scarcity was caused by a misunderstanding between product marketers and security agencies. However, the Governor's prompt intervention aims to address both the immediate and remote causes of the problem, ensuring that such disruptions do not occur in the future.

The Governor's meeting with the petroleum marketers and other stakeholders is ongoing, with a focus on finding a lasting solution to the issue. The public has been assured that normalcy will return as soon as possible, as the Governor works tirelessly to resolve the crisis.

Residents and motorists who have been affected by the scarcity have commended the Governor's swift intervention, expressing hope that the situation will be brought under control shortly. "We are relieved that the Governor has stepped in to resolve this issue," said one motorist. "We hope that the situation will return to normal soon, and we can go about our daily activities without any further disruptions."

The fuel scarcity, which began early this morning, had caused long queues at fuel stations and disrupted economic activities in the state. However, with the Governor's intervention, hopes are high that the situation will be brought under control shortly, and the state can return to its normal bustling activities.

The Governor's office has assured the public that updates will be provided regularly as the situation evolves. In the meantime, residents and motorists have been advised to remain calm and patient, as efforts are being made to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
