Good evening all. Just had a heated discussion on Charles Darwin's theory of evolution by natural selection, and modern evolution theory.

Was Evolution taught in your school?

For me, my teachers would always say 'dont mind those white people. Na dem be monkyy'. I didn't even give it a single thought till I was around 23.

Learning it gave me a better appreciation of the natural world around and its beauty and uglinees and everything in between.

Evolution was not taught in my secondary school, though I had learnt about it in primary as both were in different countries.

Made secondary school very confusing in fact, and rather annoying too.

What is Evolution and how does it work? Evolution 101 provides the nuts-and-bolts on the patterns and mechanisms of evolution.
