Whose Father or Uncle is sick? Harry's father is doing royal duties all around UK, his brother is attending footbal matches. All other royals are busy travelling from Ukraine to the US and its Meghan that must put her life on hold? This same family that threw her to the british press to denigrate?

A well brought up Omoluabi (Male) would not sit and watch as his Wife is denigrated daily on TV and national Newspapers while his family( the most powerful) turns a blind eye, hosts the press to lunches and demand that said Wife and Son accept all they are getting because the son is a spare and his wife expendable. Not because she stole, killed or destroyed anything but because they need her to be scapegoat?

How many Omoluabis will sit and accept hate and national press negativity daily, i mean DAILY with said negative news making the round in the world on print, tv and social media? How many Omoluabi's will sit and watch as they are called names, everything they do or say turned into negativity, credible threats of physical harm made against them and some people even jailed for it? How many Omoluabis will clap for their brother/inlaw when they help the press against them in court?
His mother had no one fighting the powerful family and press during her time, he stood up for his wife.

People should Know their level. It is expected, she is black and she is not an aristocrat. She has no pedigree, she doesn’t even know her roots and she wants to be accepted into a family with centuries of history? Do you know what it means to be royalty? Because every 10km we have a King in Nigeria? We are talking about someone who was 3rd in the line of succession when he was born?

What is she herself doing thinking she can marry into the British royal family? You are black, you are a divorcee, you have no family pedigree? Not even a junior member but the 3rd in line?

It’s like Bose the street hawker that found fame thinking she can marry the second son of Dangote if he has one….how?

Personally I think the real issue is less her colour but her pedigree. If she were Arab, Indian, black, but from a family with Royal or Aristocratic lineage, there wouldn’t be so much uproar. Plus she is a divorcee and her family is. a mess.

She has no business marrying Harry, his pedigree is far above her pedigree….in fact she has no pedigree. This is an example of abinibi is different from ability. She got what is due to her. She manipulated him and destroyed him because she wanted to be a princess.

I do t think you people understand the institution of the British monarchy. Commoners can marry as they want, Royalty can’t. That’s the price they pay for the privilege they enjoy. Particularly in stories royal families, marriage is traditionally a union of families to cement ties and relationships between kingdoms. That is why you will hear the Windsors are from Germany or that a former queen of England is Spanish etc etc. you can see this even in Nigeria and particularly in the North where Royal or Aristocratic families marry each other. Royal weddings are not marriages between commoners. This is not Regina marrying Ned.

We always like to shout racism etc. Even amongst us, you can’t just bring any woman and say this is the woman I want to marry. The 1st thing your family will ask you if you have any pedigree is “ile wo lo ti wa”. (Which house or family is she from?). If she cannot answer satisfactorily, even if they can’t stop you from marrying her, she will never be fully accepted. Am I lying?

Pedigree does not mean wealth or royalty. It means your family is known, respected in the community has a good name etc. pedigree is when you can trace one’s lineage. In the Arab/Muslim world it gives rise to names with prefixes like Ibn-, el, Al etc meaning son of or from, in yoruba land we call it oriki. I still remember as a teenager a friend’s mother telling his elder brother who was studying abroad don’t bring a wife home who does not have oriki. Aka don’t come back with a wife that we don’t know where she is from or her lineage. The reason why people of pedigree insist on marrying people of pedigree is because when you come from a storied family with a reputation, you don’t behave anyhow. A woman of pedigree would not behave the way Meghan has behaved.

She must have used the AncestryDNA test or the 23andMe DNA test firms which only give percentages of your ancestral heritage. They only give the likely country regions your DNA markers correspond to and NOT the specific ethnic groups your ancestors come from.

Most African-Americans and Caribbean folks have mixed ancestries from nearly all the regions of Africa and Europe as confirmed by DNA tests, so, you cannot say that a person is strictly 100 percent from ONLY an African ethnic group.

Only AfricanAncestry does the job of trying to link historical Diasporan Africans with the likely ethnic groups the paternal and maternal sides come from, but the downside is that the DNA results don't tell you about the ethnicities or ancestral heritages of your other ancestors in the family tree.
