Winter Dulls Up My Fashion Sense by Nobody: 2:15pm On Nov 21, 2011
I like to dress with very bright colours but when winter comes, it becomes all grey and black.

The only bright colours: blue and red.

White doesn't even exist. Winter dulls up my mood and makes me want to dress like a widow.

Am I the only one who feels this way?

Actually, it shouldn't. Nobody is forcing you to wear grey, black and white during winter. There are colorful winter apparels all over. You choose to wear the dull colors.

Your "fashion swag" should know no bounds/season.  cheesy

Please help me out. My mood goes grey in winter and so does my fashion sense.

I can only think of red and blue. Even though this year gold seems to be in vogue!

I can't wait to lay my hands on a pair of golden shoes!

You can wear white jeans in winter, colourful scarves, hats/gloves, some of your bright summer t-shirts if you want, etc. Don't forget when you take off your jacket people can see what you're wearing underneath your coat. You don't have to dress as though you are in mourning.

I wore a green top today and didn't button up. Guess it wasn't that cold.

PS: Babe, that pics from Gossip Girl is quite an inspiration, but I prefer my shoes much higher and I don't think I'd ever try the combo green-yellow. Yellow shoes are not really my thing. I prefer golden.

So basically, the cold changes your mood, and consequently, your mood affects the way you "dress". Well, I can't change the weather. grin

Ok. Your choice. I would wear that in a heartbeat though. My fashion sense is a bit bold. The height of the shoes?-not really my thing either, but it works sometimes.

You can still do your thing with coats, boots, scarfs, gloves, hats, earmuffs (there're so many different, stylish ones out there these days), etc. Winter's even better to rock outfits because you have more apparel to work with.

Italy is sure a cemetery, as far as fashion is concerned. I hardly see bright colours for shoes and clothes when I go shopping. Surprisingly though this year, I've been having a tough time finding grey shoes.

You can still do your thing with coats, boots, scarfs, gloves, hats, earmuffs (there're so many different, stylish ones out there these days), etc. Winter's even better to rock outfits because you have more apparel to work with.

I don't like "packing". I love to feel my body when I'm walking and not compressed under kg of clothings. My accessories are shoes, bags, belts and sometimes scarves. That's why I love summer: my essentialist way of life can prevail!!! grin grin
