I don't know of any country in the world where this same IMf imposes recommendations like it does in Nigeria. It's almost as if they have their headquarters here. Is it because they know we have criminals and airheads ruling us? Do they give recommendations like this to countries like Ireland, Switzerland etc?

akuneme:
Crypto is the least of Nigeria's problem.

Start with fixing insecurity. Let farmers go back to their farms.

Stop crude oil theft.

Reduce the so many hurdles it takes to export goods out of Nigeria.

Build more ports in other states in the country.

Let them just allow the existing ports to be working to expand the economy and also go after buhari and his gang who borrowed and looted trillions without nothing on ground to show for it which has made nigeria to be using 96% of it's revenue for debt servicing thereby making the naira to be depreciating.

True. Most countries are regulating or banning it
totally because it's a criminal venture. It's either it's registered to be regulated or totally banned. In fact, anyone found doing money laundering on it should be hanged!

Smiling. I don't trust IMF. But when it comes to crypto, the TradFi and the govt have very limited knowledge about it.

Nigeria is the 5th or 6th crypto currency using nation in the world.

If govt like, make dem ban from now till tomorrow, crypto is going nowhere and people like me go still dey use crypto like say nothing happened.

If u check my account, u no go see anything there. My assets are stored in crypto.

The earlier the govt get sense the better. Crypto is designed to resist TradFi and govts. It will outline every govt and those that refused to embrace it will be relegated.
