Those sycophants who were cheering him didn't even let us understand the point he was making because it's common sense that the more you tax people, the poorer they become. Believe it or not, the truth is that Tinubu is too old to run this country.

Ok, let's assume he didn't say it...but he's actually doing it now?

He's lowered people's purchasing power with inflation, garri na #3500.

He widened the tax net, soon the 0.5% cyber security tax will come in full effect.

Stop defending nonsense you BATeria

This is the reality today
Tinubu met a paint of garri at 700
Today it's #4000
He has reduced our purchasing power and increased the tax net

Yes, it was Farooq Kperogi who has deliberately and mischievously misinterpreted what Jagaban said in 2019 that weakening the purchasing power of the people would slow down the economy and that instead of that, widening the tax net to cover more taxpayers was a better alternative.

Honestly I’m seeing the full video for the first time. Mischief makers edited it to look like Tinubu made a blunder.

Nigeria’s problem is not about Tinubu or any of our past leaders. It’s about us; black people. We collectively don’t have the mental capacity to handle public resources.

Black Africa must be recolonized!

True, he didn't say that but his policies are reducing the purchasing power of the people and slowing down the economy.

The devil is really using Tinubu for Nigeria
Let's believe he didn't say that but he is doing the exact opposite of what he preached against, even in greater proportion, what does that make him
Same way he wrote a long epistle to Jonathan about fuel subsidy only for him to remove subsidy even before he gets to aso rock
He was talking to his slowpoke supporters during campaigns that they should have rest of mind that he will bring down fuel price once he gets to power only for him to increase it astronomically the moment he assumed power,so his supporters should just know that the man last credibility, is dubious and cannot be trusted
He will end up worst than Buhari, such character cannot deliver any good governance, its impossible

But he did say to recruit 50million youths into the army and feed them agbado and cassava.

Today we have the jagaban army gnawing at agbado and cassava and hailing him in zombie-like chants.

"In any case, we now know from a retrospective reading of Tinubu’s 2019 speech that his grand plan is to economically disempower the people, depress the economy, and tax people and businesses to death."
Farooq Kperogi

The grand speech :

" If we reduce the purchasing power of the people, we can further slow down the economy," he said to a mysterious ovation from the audience. “Let’s widen the tax net. Those who are not paying now, even if it’s inclusive of Bola Tinubu, let the net get bigger and we take in more taxes. And that is what we must do in the country.”
