Where are those that said the CBN governor has started working.
He has put some policies in place and they are having effects.

What is happening now?

We should be sincere to ourselves. The naira will not improve until the right things are done.

The CBN and the minister of Finance are not qualified to hold such offices. They have run out of ideas .

CBN policy is on dry fasting. When she breaks the fasting with another world bank dollar loan, you will see a better Naira.

Those 'sabotaging' the economy cannot be more powerful than the government.

How did Naira slip from about #1000 recently to #1500 now now?

Who else is to blamed?

They could be qualified for the job but failure in the government is making them famous in areas that's none of their business. This government knows exactly what to do to change the economic situation of Nigeria, but they feel that such moves will make many youths financially independent and hard to manipulate during elections. So, expect any good thing during or towards elections and after then status quo or whatever you name it.

they knew what they were doing wouldn't work, every single sensible person in this world knew what Cardoso and Tinubu did with the naira wouldn't work. the million-dollar question we should ask ourselves is why did they do it? why did they have to waste over 2 billion dollars from the nation's external reserve to defend the naira, and sell dollars cheaply to the rate of 1000 naira to one dollar for a short period?
The only probable answer is 1000000% CORRUPTION, i am sure if a serious investigation is carried out, it will reveal that it was politicians in govt and their cronies that bought all those cheap dollars.
They claim they were fighting against currency speculation but created a bigger cartel of speculators, and they will soon repeat it all over again, it is a very good form of currency conversion for them .
steal and loot the naira , push tinubu and cardoso to sell cheap dollars and convert all your naira to dollars . whaoo , so cool and easy

No reasonable person will take them serious they absolutely don't have the brains, guts or the moral strength of fixing the economy. Why won't the naira continue to depreciate when nigeria is using 96% of it's revenue for debt servicing? Until they start going after buhari who borrowed trillions without anything on ground to show for it no sane nigerian will take them serious.

Politicians that asked Nigerians to send more dollars from abroad, turned around to hide their own dollars! Even the CBN has not enforced a fair exchange rate with the IMTOs to encourage Nigerians in diaspora to send money via official means. Instead of asking people to pay x amount into their naira account and they would pay x amount into their dollar account abroad. These transactions would not be necessary if the IMTOs were forced by the CBN to ensure a daily fair exchange rate for Nigerians in diaspora. Thus ultimately less foreign currency is remitted to Nigeria due to people realizing that the IMTOs exchange rate is highly unfair and designed to rip them off.

Also, In many cases, our politicians even converted the little naira in their savings accounts into dollars too. Further making dollars scarce and driving up the exchange rate.

It is clear to everyone now that CBN does not have the capacity to indefinitely defend the naira through making dollars to flood the market and available more than the high demand for it. So the inevitable fate of the naira is imminent.

This is the total truth. I have been saying this since time immemorial.

The problem of the naira is in the government.
