Izzyguy: Pls,Lheyhe,ayodeji & odas wht r d chances of a 2nd choice candidate in gaining admission in2 U.I coz am rily optimistic abt enterin via 2nd choice...Once i am invited nd i merit d post ume cutoff wnt i b given admission?..pls i nid a clear evaluatn of my chances as a 2nd choice candidate...Am applying for pharmacy..my points are 71.2(50:50 mtd) nd 73.6(60:40 method), am 4rm kogi state..Nd wht is d number of people dat can b taken via 2nd choice....INFACT ALL I NID IS AN ASSURANCE DAT I CAN GET ADMITTED VIA 2ND CHOICE...thnks as u reply.

Those that choose UI as their 2nd choice will have to wait for 1st choice to write their p-utme b4 2nd choice write their own. And 2ndly UI accept 2nd choice, is just that the chances are slim.

Your point is 55.6, with this you can only be sure of been call 4 d p-utme if u choose zoology which was 52.9 last year, antropology 58.6 on merit 51.5 on localty or vetinary medicine 57.5 on merit 45.3 on localty. Best of luck

ui and oau cant wait til then...oau did its post utme last when they were in first semesta and d reason why ui sold it around dat time last yr was dat last year's jamb was june.immediately d changin d change of course and institution is closed 4rm jamb they wil send d lists to respective institutions and d post utme processes wil start immediately.nigeria institutions are doing their post utme at almost dsame period in oda nt to loose income to oda institution tru post utme charges and in oda nt to keep applicants waiting

izzyguy i think wot u should be thinkin abt nw is hw to be among d highest scorers 4rm ur department in post utme cos wit dat ur result and also 4rm kogi state u re shortlisted.note dat if u dont score high mark but score above 50 in ur post utme u may end up in agricultural department.hw did u calculate ur results? Note dat it was 50:50 they used last year

Don't also forget the strike that took place b4 the commencement of this session it may affect the month and date of the p-utme

pls apart from english language what course can dis result study, N.C.E- english B, Yoruba B, Education C, GSE B, T.P C.
WAEC- English C4, Mathematics C4, Account B3, Economics C6, Government A1.
NECO- Eng D7, Maths D7, Literature D7, Yoruba C6, Economics C6, Commerce C5, Biology C5, Account C6, Government C4. I mean direct entry.

UI admits 2nd choice but most probably with the 2nd batch though your weighted average must be high and being from kogi,I guess its part of ELDS so it should have a lower cut-off mark

I chose UI as my first choice and scored 252 in Jamb. I want to study mechanical engineering. My waec result: Chemistry A1,Physics B2,Mathematics B3,English C4 and Biology C6. Pls what are my chances of being called for putme.
