pls guys dis arguement wont help us. Dis best thing is 2 sit down and reason.
(1) last yr admins ui didnt cal d awaiting result. Hope am correct.
(2)i hrd dat ui wrote putme 2ce last yr. Who are d people dat fell into dat category
(3)why will dey shortlist on 22nd. While some are waiting 4 olevel.
(4) if ui is 2 use d jamb/olevel system. On wat point will dey shortlist awaiting result.
(5)wud ui 1st shortlist abt 5000 candidate 4 people dat hav their olevel already.then 5000 wen d result are out

(6)wont dat lead 2 shortage or surplus of candidate.
(7) let think abt wat dat @jossy1luv4 said. Not d cutoff mark bt d use of jamb.

I'm currently in 100L, UI will probably still use the jamb/olevel combination to shortlist, those awaiting result will be shortlisted for the 2nd pume....the 1st admission list will contain those with extremely high pume scores while the 2nd list will have those who wrote 2nd pume nd those with good scores frm d 1st one....thats hw twas done last year

What I guess UI will do is two Putme like last year but dis year it will not be first choice candidates first nd second choice candidates second as it was done last year. Rather both first nd second choice candidates with deir o'level results will be shortlisted on d 22 June and will write d first putme while dose with awaiting results will be shortlisted after August 31, 2012 nd will now write d second putme.
Remember d 5000 candidates dat sat for last year's putme were shortlisted twice, so dis year also d 10,000 candidates dat will be shortlisted will be from d two set of shortlisted candidates of June 22 nd after August 31.

Let us all wait and see. Pls don't be confused by what anybody says. Just be steadfast in your preparations for the putme. Friday is coming soon and we shall see:........

With these new info,it means those with low utme score don't have a chance.its not fair.the best thing would have been for UI to invite all candidate with 200 and above.I just hope i will be shortlisted.241,botany.

yes but u nid to knw hw ui selects candidates 4rm 22states dat make d elds.ui will choose one candidate with d highest jamb score 4rm each of d 22 states so pray nobody choose dsame course as u and score higher mark dan u in utme.even candidates who are nt of kogi states nw claim d state in jamb so dat d cut off wil be lower example is me and my 2 younga brodas.we are 4rm ekiti but my ebira friend helped us to get d state of origin with abt #17,000 they are here with me one in 400L Law and d oda in Economics so i think d cut of kogi is nw a little bit higher dan d rest of d elds cos it is d easiest state 4 yoruba students to claim after kwara state due to d yoruba speaking tribe of d states.u dont xpect sum1 with Adekunle Adedeji as a name to claim Yobe state isnt dat ridiculous?abi do we hav any1 4rm d north in d house?
