It may take a while for the now remaining 25 to deceive themselves through the court, but in the end the reality is that they are no longer recognized and would be treated as inconsequential. Again the 25 would not be getting salaries and allowances anymore, not especially from the state governor run by their enemy, Fubara.

BAT gave a political solution to the dispute and the governor was more than willing. Unfortunately Wike and his group would not be appeased. That’s politics…interest!

BAT could not override the constitution with his political solution, as PDP and other interested parties were already in court.

The declaration of the vacancy of a seat vacant by INEC is merely administrative. Even without the declaration, a vacant seat is vacant. A speaker can declare a seat vacant.

Your so called letter was written on the 11th of December. So, INEC did the right thing.

It doesnt remove the fact that they have lost their seats.The constitution is very clear.And besides that acknowledgement happened in Dececmber 2023 when APC had not acknowledged their decamping.
