What's the use of a large population with very low purchasing power? Big companies only care about your money, not your population size. Till date, Playstation network (PSN) doesn't support Nigeria but does support SA, why? Does it mean we don't have a lot of PS fans in Nigeria? It's simply because of the economic situation. You can't compare the purchasing power of South Africans to that of Nigeria or are you going to compare Naira to Rands? Nigeria customers are too broke to buy anything. Nigeria should prioritise export-driven industries such as petrochemicals, steel, Aluminium refined oil, LNG, agricultural products, and minerals that can generate $100 bn in exports.
