Blues name six rookies, new captain for Origin opener

Jake Trbojevic, Sea Eagles forward, takes the helm as captain of a revamped Blues squad for the series opener on June 5 at Accor Stadium. NSW coach Michael Maguire introduces six debutants in his maiden Origin selection, with Panthers fullback Dylan Edwards among them. Edwards steps into the Origin arena, replacing the longstanding captain James Tedesco, who, alongside 10 other players, was either overlooked or unavailable for selection from last year's victorious Blues squad.
