The recent public appearance of Lamido Sanusi II, the Emir of Kano, was marked by widespread adulation and jubilation as he ventured outdoors from the main palace on Sunday. District Heads, council members, & key figures in the emirate’s governance paid their respects, highlighting their support for the Emir. Sanusi’s comeback as Emir was facilitated by the signing of the new Kano Emirate Council Law by Governor Abba Yusuf.
