Ojukwu: Nigeria Needs To Deal With Her Demons. by Kilode1: 6:25am On Nov 27, 2011 |
Sorry for the slightly dramatic title, glad it grabbed your attention The very articulate Feyi Fawehinmi (of the "Dele Momodu your s/h/i/t is weak" fame ) wrote this on his blog late yesterday. It's like he peered into my mind and expressed my thoughts, I just had to share it here. I agree with almost everything he said, especially the part in bold. I'm not big on superstition and I don't strongly believe in Karma, but I've read a bit of human history to conclude that when a society covers up injustice, especially gross injustice, it hardly progresses. We have a lot of healing to do in Nigeria, the earlier we start the better for us and coming Generations Read and Enjoy Feyi blogs at: http://aguntasolo.posterous.com/dikedioramma Dikedioramma |

There's plenty of work to do, we can't continue to sweep everything under the carpet. Hopefully we'll get the right leadership soon. |

^ In many ways, NL is an online microcosm of Nigeria, but not in all ways. E.g: It's obvious we are divided along ethnic lines on a few issues, but definitely not as much as the pre-pubescent comedians on NL make it out to be. As per larger political leadership, we can only hope. I know these visionless looters won't live forever tho. |
